HAPPY STROKIVERSARY MONTH TO ME!
Happy belated Stroke anniversary month to you. I am a stroke survivor and I too had my stroke at 29 years old. I am now 53. And October is my anniversary month as well. However, I never celebrated the entire month but do so every year on October 6, the day of my stroke. I just recently started to tell everyone I meet that I am a stroke survivor. In the past, I would try to hide my slight speech deficit. I am now a proud survivor and my story is a miraculous one that I want to share with others in an effort to give them hope and drive to regain what they may have lost. So my hat is off to you for being a proud stroke survivor and being an inspiration to others. I wish for you is continued success and good health.
