It's my re-birthday and I'm so excited.
Who would have ever thought that having a stroke would incite such happiness?
I sure do! I treat it like it;s my Birthday. This year, I think I'll celebrate with green foods. Stuff I couldn't eat when I was on the blood thinners. I'm also going to get a piece of cake lol as all celebrations should have cake!
It's also a day of reflection for me. Even now, I find myself re-playing the events leading up to my hospitalization. I don't think that will ever stop. I just want to use it as a day to celebrate being alive!
